We’re committed to enabling our provider partners to achieve their care and growth goals. Our regional Kidney Contracting Entities (KCEs), made up of nephrology practices and transplant providers, have achieved industry-leading results, including 80% earning high-performer designation.

1Comprehensive Kidney Care Contracting (CKCC) is a voluntary, value-based care program designed to reduce Medicare expenditures, while improving the quality of care given to chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) beneficiaries. It is a two-sided total cost of care (TCOC) payment model for Medicare patients that improves upon the ESKD seamless care organizations (ESCO) model. The current five-year program was introduced by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in 2019.
